In the loadout screen for fornite you can pick and customize your character you want to play with
Most players can interact with the bus driver by thanking him/her for its service
The beginning of the game has started where you see me flying down to land from the flying bus.
My brother showing off his characters dance moves after eliminating enemies.
My brother was sending me messages and emotes during the game to communicate with me.
  1. PLACE: The differences between the physical Long Beach State campus and Zoom U is the day to day routine a typical student would face. Now that Zoom U is in effect all to most classes have been held online in a zoom meeting where everything is video chat instead of face to face. The physical campus is mostly different from online because of the work environment students are forced to be in.
  2. PLACE: The differences between me on fortnite instead of a social media app like instagram or snapchat is how much more engaged I am in the online environment. Since you have to be more engaged and engaging physically with a controller in fortnite. The online game is one where you have to be very attentive. On instagram and snapchat you will see that you don’t have to be that much attentive to the app and you can be a little lazy or nonchalant. Playing the game is a lot more satisfying than scrolling on an app seeing different feeds especially when some people like to initiate drama. The only way I would say that they are similar is how people can communicate very easily on the servers
  3. CONCLUSIONS: I believe many people can find a place to experience virtually it just depends on personal interest and what a person’s goal is when interacting in an online game.
  4. IDENTITY: I wouldn’t think instagram or facebook is an MMORPGs for the simple fact social media handles are made to display or show off the type of person you are, not to fake pretend or act as someone or a character you’re not. So I wouldn’t believe social media channels to be MMORPGs.
  5. IDENTITY: I think real life can only be MMORPGs when someone transforms their image to another being that is other than them and they promote it as if it’s their own for popularity or acknowledgement.
